People of all ages come and enjoy the PKC all breed dog shows, obedience trials and match show throughout the year.
An article in the Poughkeepsie Journal, written by John Davis stated, “ Considering the 800 plus dogs in Friday’s competition, several thousand people traveled to the airport for the two-day event. The spacious setting made it ideal for a dog show. . . The dog show had a fair-like quality to it with various food and drink vendors selling everything from baked pretzels and lemonade to dog food and leashes.”
